The Digital Trunk Interface unit provides both T1 and PRI interface. The T1 Trunk Interface provides for the termination of T1/Fractional T1 (24 DS-0 channels) lines with ANI. Tie line (E&M), DID signaling, loop start, and ground start are supported. The Primary Rate Interface provides for the termination of an ISDN PRI line for voice service only. This unit supports 4ESS (AT&T Custom), AT&T 5ESS (Lucent Custom), DMS-100 (Custom and National ISDN) and NI-2 protocols. Firmware Version 5.00 is required on IPK II.
